The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) was established to provide income-eligible home owners with free home energy upgrades to help save energy, reduce your energy bills, and make sure your home is a safe and healthly place to live.

If your household qualifies for the program, a local Weatherization service provider will conduct a free home energy audit to determine if cost-effective upgrades are needed and can be completed in your home. Potential energy upgrades include:

• External wall and attic insulation
• Sealing air leaks
• Furnace, boiler and water heater repair or replacement
• Expert tips and advice to help reduce your home’s energy use
